UNQUALIFIED WOMAN DIAGNOSES EX-BOYFRIEND AS A NARCISSIST

ITHACA, NEW YORK     After a less-than-pleasant break-up last month, Ashley Fulton has decided that her ex-boyfriend, Pete, is indeed a narcissist.
"He was always about himself. He spent so much time with his friends, I felt like I was alone. He never made time for my needs."
The condition of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, otherwise known as NPD, was brought to Fulton's attention via a Facebook post from a high school friend. "I saw it, and I was like, oh my God. This is so him."

Some known symptoms of NPD are jealousy, preoccupation with power and appearance, and manipulative behaviors. When asked if she was qualified to make such a diagnosis, Fulton became visibly upset. "You're gaslighting me!" She then hung up. All further calls were forwarded to voicemail.
